Re: Things that bring me joy
2-minute read
James wrote a post about things that bring him joy, so I figured I give that a try too!
I love sitting on the riverbank and gazing at the sparkling waters.
I love the feeling of freedom my bicycle gives me. It is a special kind of freedom — the one that is also safe and carefree.
I love volunteering and helping people whenever I can.
I love my girlfriend and making her happy. I knows she loves it when I take photos for her so I don't miss an opportunity to do just that. And I admire that both of us are polyamorous, nonbinary, and neurodivergent. It's beautiful and empowering.
My favourite colour is pink. It's soothing.
I love decluttering and sorting things. Lists and spreadsheets are awesome. It's as if I'm sorting out stuff in my brain, too.
I love to build my website and learn new things in HTML and CSS.
I love to play a carefree videogame, usually walking simulators and simple puzzles fall into this category.
I love physical activity, be that cleaning the house, hiking, or working as a courier.
Here's my favourite song that calms me down and alleviates my shutdowns.
I treasure my drawings.
I love to shave and feel the smoothness of my skin.
I love my fluffy rascals and taking care of them.
I love how green my town is. Nature is all around. There're swamps, lakes, mountains, rivers, and all kinds of picturesque landscapes.
I love traveling and seeing new places.
I love live concerts. When the organ plays everything trembles and you feel all the vibrations go through your body, it's invigorating.
I love gathering with friends and cooking together.
I love trains and all sorts of public transit, in spite of my occassional motion sickness.
